RCS — the next generation of mobile messaging

Turn SMS into branded, interactive conversations.

RCS Business Messaging lets you send rich cards, carousels, suggested replies and verified sender branding straight to the native messaging app. Same reach as SMS, dramatically better engagement — when RCS is available, we use it, and fall back to SMS when it is not.

The problem we solve

SMS works. It also looks like it did in 2002.

Your customers expect branded, visual, tappable experiences — the kind they get from every app. SMS delivers the message; it does not deliver the brand. RCS closes that gap on every compatible Android device without installing anything, and without asking your customer to switch app. The catch: carrier support, template approvals and fallback logic are non-trivial. We handle that layer.

  • Verified sender branding with logo, name, and colors on every supported device
  • Rich cards, carousels, suggested replies, deep-link actions — right inside the conversation
  • Automatic fallback to SMS when RCS is unavailable, transparent to the sender
  • Template approval workflow with carrier and aggregator coordination
How it works

From setup to scale, in four steps.

1

Design

We work with your brand team to design rich templates: cards, carousels, suggested replies and CTAs.

2

Verify

Sender registration with Google and carriers. Logo, colors, verified badge — all approved upfront.

3

Integrate

REST API for message send, webhooks for user replies, same connector works for RCS and SMS fallback.

4

Optimize

Track read receipts, user interactions, suggested-reply clicks. Iterate on what converts.

What you get

Built for teams that care about results.

Verified branded sender

Your logo, colors and verified badge on every supported Android device. Zero room for impersonation.

Rich cards and carousels

Hero images, titles, descriptions, multiple CTAs per card. Up to 10 cards in a carousel.

Suggested replies and actions

Reply buttons, URL openers, dial numbers, open map, add to calendar — all native.

Read receipts and delivery status

Know when the message was delivered, read, and acted on. Analytics you cannot get from SMS.

Automatic SMS fallback

If RCS is not available on the recipient, we transparently send SMS with the equivalent content.

Two-way conversations

Inbound replies routed via webhook, ready for your chatbot, CRM or agent console.

Use cases

Where this makes the biggest difference.

Retail conversational commerce

Product carousels with prices, buy-now buttons, tracking links. Move transactions into the messaging thread.

Banking and financial updates

Branded statement alerts, transaction confirmations with verified sender. Reduces phishing exposure vs SMS.

Travel and hospitality

Booking confirmations, check-in cards, itinerary updates with maps, add-to-calendar, dial-for-hotel.

Customer support escalation

Rich ticket cards, status cards, suggested replies for common resolutions before handing off to an agent.

Technical integration

One API, two channels, automatic routing.

Integrate once. The same endpoint sends RCS where available and SMS everywhere else, mapping fields transparently. Templates go through an approval workflow we manage, and you get webhooks for every inbound event — reply, suggested-reply click, card tap.

  • REST API that abstracts RCS / SMS routing behind a single send endpoint
  • Template CRUD: create, submit for approval, track status, version
  • Webhooks for delivery receipts, read receipts, user replies, suggested-reply clicks
  • Media upload for cards (images, videos) with automatic resizing and CDN hosting
  • Per-template analytics: sent, delivered, read, tapped — on rich elements
  • Simulation mode and sandbox environment for integration testing
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is RCS and why should I care?
RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the successor to SMS, supported natively on Android and on iPhone from iOS 18. It adds rich media, branded verified sender, read receipts, and two-way conversations — without installing an app. Engagement rates typically run 3–8x higher than SMS for comparable content.
What happens when the recipient does not support RCS?
Our API automatically falls back to SMS, sending the textual version of the message. You never need to branch your logic. Analytics clearly separate RCS-delivered vs SMS-delivered so you can measure the uplift.
How long does sender verification take?
RCS sender verification with Google and aggregators typically takes 1–3 weeks, depending on brand documentation and regional requirements. We handle the submission and follow-up.
Is RCS more expensive than SMS?
RCS per-message pricing is higher than SMS but lower than most OTT alternatives. Given the engagement uplift, cost per conversion is typically better. We provide transparent per-country pricing for both RCS and SMS.
Can I send the same template via RCS and SMS?
Yes. You design a rich RCS template and a plain SMS fallback. Our routing picks RCS when available, SMS otherwise — you see both flows in the same analytics view.
Do you support RCS globally?
RCS coverage is still expanding. We support it in all major markets where carriers and Google have enabled it, and we are transparent about country-level availability during discovery.
